RIVETING & PRONG SETTING WORKSHOP

$140.00

Riveting & Prong Setting Workshop

Saturday, August 11th, 2018 from 10 am to 5 pm

Riveting is a method of connecting various pieces of metal without the use of a torch! In this workshop, demonstrations will be given on constructing a riveted piece of jewelry to which stones will be attached. The use of riveting does away with high-heat soldering and adds a unique custom look to your jewelry! The new Whaley sliding hammer is a great tool to use in this workshop.

Each student will leave the workshop with a finished riveted pendant with integrated stones using a prong setting.

Beginning and advanced jewelry students are welcome.

There will be a 30 minute break for lunch. Bring your own sack lunch or grab lunch in the area.

Fee: $140.00 per student, includes materials…even silver, brass, and cabochon stones.
Call studio to register offline at 619-299-9619.
